This is the introduction video to my MPG upgrades. I plan on several videos showing the installation of a pyrometer, a performance chip, a 4" turbo back stainless exhaust, new intercooler and engine valley hoses and I will polish the turbo "Y pipe".
In this video I lay out the upgrade plan and show the parts. I show the installation of the upgrades in parts 2, 3 and 4

  • does that little computer modual really work?? or is it nothing but wires and junk stuffed inside plastic??

  • @kklein41291 I think that you are referring to the PID temperature controller. If so yes it works very well. I have not used the control features yet but it works very well as a EGT gauge. A blue warning light comes on at what ever max temp you set. I have it set to 1250F.

  • @Mrcarlosspicey where is that at?

  • the dr performance is basically a boost fooler and it changes a few settings on ur computer and injection

  • Remove the turbo silencer ring

  • What mileage you get with stock and mod? My F350 with over 220K get 15-17 mpg it stock expect 6637 air filter.

  • @mars1952 G'day... Great clip, and nice work..! Ironic that the BIGGEST Fuel-Sucker was silently lurking in centre-frame, most of the vid.. Your Step-Up Belted Alternator, feeding the depleted Battery. It's only 2%-3%FUEL-Efficient.

    Chìnese 2-Stroke Gennys are 10% F.E.,& 4-Strokes =12.5%.

Search 'SunFoil Short-Talk', then 'SunFoil Science' & 'SunFoil Mk2 Construction'. There's 12+ clips covering all angles, even 'Solar Thermal Ramjet Effect'. Open Source. DIY. Ciao !

  • really cool stuff man been watching some of your videos, HHO seems like a pretty good idea and im thinking about putting one in my 13 mpg jeep, but i noticed you have a diesel, why not just use vegetable oil that you could get for for pennies a gallon at local restraunts, no upgrades necesarry, you could use an external tank and install a switch if you really wanted to go from diesel to veggie oil on a cold start. just an idea

  • one thing i like. The Edge Juice with Attitude CTS controller. I have a 6inch lift on 37" toyo open country. 6speed manual with stock rear end sterling 10.5. anyway i got about 11-12 mpg before chip. one milage setting i get about 23-25 mpg on average everywhere i go on the freeway. in the hills i get about 16-19 depending on how much gas i give. not to bad for me.

  • what can kind of MPGs are you getting with all your upgrades?
