"Know Me," written by Nelson Starr, was recorded Palm Sunday, 1988 by now-famous Flaming Lips producer, Dave Fridmann. The longtime signature song from what was to become one of Buffalo's most recognized modern rock groups was often saved for the last slot on the set list- this night was no exception. The tails lineup in 1991 was Nelson Starr (vocals), Eric Starr (drums), Dave Hill (bass) and Kevin Boyle (guitar) and Jeff Miers (guitar).

I actually wrote this song in 1987 in a small flat in Hietzing - a suburb of Vienna when I was studying for a semester there. I wrote, like, 15 tunes there that formed the basis of our songlist when I returned and we launched the band.
