In my opinion, Pete Jolly's rendition of the beautiful Burt Bacharach song "Windows of the World" is one of the finest jazz/pop piano performances EVER.

What an ear for great pop talent Herb Alpert had in the 1960s and 1970s!
-
One of the greatest jazz pianists EVER!

I heard this album in Philly in 1968. Please would someone download "lonely girl" on side "B"-1st song. 96.5 WHAT-FM certainly was on target. One of my favorite albums of all-time.

I absolutely love the late, great Pete Jolly's rendition of this great Burt Bacharach tune and listen to it often!

beautiful peice of music making, that A&M Bacharach sound, with a little McCann rythmn on the bottom. Pete Jolly could make some beautiful sounds on that piano and I'm just scatching the surface of his works. Im leaning toward the A&M and warner bros period. The "Blues" peice that he did in the Eastwood documentary made me "hear" him after hearing him on the radio all my life via Chuck Niles.

Pretty piano playing. Soothing sounds. Light and airy...
