I find it hard to find the holes when I start going around. I just seem to stick it in anywhere. How do you clearly see where the hook goes?

Patience and Determination... depending on the colour you choose. Lighting could be a factor too. Maybe your hook is too small?

what is the size of this hat? I really like to crochet but can never really adjust sizes successfully. I know everyone says to use a different size hooks or thicker/thinner yarn, but these don't change the size significantly.

@rinka78 i watched the videos and he never says the sz this hat fits. i would make the hat and if you need it longer then add rows or if you need to make the hat wider you can go back to the line where you stopped increasing the amount and continue with the same confirguration bigger.. for example..if you did 6 singles, and then 2 singles into the 8th, the next row would be 7 singles and then 2 singles in the 8th hole...ect til its big enough hope this helps~ chanel @the crochet crowd helpdesk
