  • Good video to check out even for a beginner. Smooth..

Out of curiosity, what app/apps are you using on your iPad?

  • @OmegaSolution On the iPad, I use ForeFlight HD. Thanks for watching!

  • Nice vide and very professional! One question, you took control of aircraft around 500' and did not let the autopilot continue the app. Why? How low can the autopilot take you in?

  • @Assassin1959 the Cirrus Flight Operations Manual precision approach procedure says that the autopilot is to be disconnected at the DA (Decision Altitude, 200' AGL on this approach). I disconnected a little early for no other reason than I felt like flying it myself for a few extra seconds :)

  • nice approach dude. i take the cirrus at 85-90 to the numbers and cut power just before touch down at 75-80. thats with 50 percent flaps.

  • @darwin188 thanks for the feedback. On my knee is a standard kneeboard, and and iPad. -Greg

  • Greg you make that look so cool! I've been hooked on Cirrus Aircraft for a couple of years and I'm strongly considering flying lesson. Thanks for the video.

  • Gotta love G1000, never know you can choose G1000 for the cirrus.

  • @darwin188 can i ask why you only use 50 percent i personally think the 100 percent gives me a better line of sight from the cockpit ,

  • @southbaypilot You are an excellent pilot. And after 6 years in the Airforce ive seen alot of flying. That was worth a favorite.

  • @JamaicanDave1980 ,,awwww sorry to hear,,, guess u can still dream about a boeing lol
