  • @Sancon95 Prance through? Pretty sure that was a decent effort to run after Harry in a gown...

Not sure how you play your fantasy Ginny running through, did you expect her to be give Remus a wedgie spell before she went through the fire? Or maybe do a cartwheel through the fire? Or maybe they could of shown her putting whoopy cushions under all the cushions while everyone was outside watching the fire?

What did you exactly expect her to do?

  • @bombersrulz ah exaggerating a point to the point of stupidity... the internets classic arguement.

In short, no. And an example? Oh the list.. Well, the stand-out example for me is when the burrow is under attack and she runs through the fire after harry. This is meant to be a dramatic moment.. but instead she just happens to prance through, expressionless. Not. Like. Ginny.

  • @Sancon95 So what, you think Bonnie as a twelve year old actress should have just randomly played pranks on everyone during scenes to make herself more like Ginny?

"Hey Chris do you think I should be shown in the background making faces behind Harry?"

"No, as every scene you are in is a serious scene"

Give me an example on what she should of done and I might agree.

  • @bombersrulz no your wrong, on the hp set the director always knew they were working with kids. As a result they let them explore their character and make it their own, so that it would be more convincing, Bonnie did it, she failed. And yes, maybe her not being in the fight scene wasn't her fault, but when she did appear she looked as though she just happened to stroll into a battle, not even panting/panicking/grieving/scared.

She was the weakest actress, by a long way

  • @Sancon95 Dude it's not Bonnie's fault, she only does what the director and the script says. Bonnie can't just add in the lines from the book as the directer would be like "wtf that's not on the script"

And your argument about Bonnie not being in the fight scene is terrible, do you honestly think Bonnie just walked off the set and said "nah i don't wanna be in this scene"? She only does what she is told to do!!!

  • @fuzzypeaches772 no im sorry but she isnt! I mean she is a good actress (maybe) but she just IS NOT the reckless rebel created in the book. On screen she doesn't seem mischievious, she isn't witty, sometimes she doesn't even look like a Weasley. Ok, the first films she was ok as Ginny, but nearer the end Ginny grew into this amazing rebel partnered with Neville and Luna, and both Matt and Evanna embraced that, but Bonnie simply got weaker.. she wasn't even in the fight scene!

    ok.. rant over

  • I've got her hair.... whoopee...

  • @fuzzypeaches772 I'm so sorry I wanted to vote it up ^_^ but I hit the wrong button
