MACCA Ironman Germany Training - Epic Tour (Day 2)

An 8 hour training day is always tough. Day 2 of our training camp was epic. The Gorge Du Verdon is absolutely incredible. The climbing is brutal. We June June 16. 2010 - climbed exactly 15897 feet today in 116 miles. It was a long tough day in the saddle and the last climb to our hotel at the Palais De Verdon in the town of La Pulude was killer. 10 miles and 3000 feet. An Epic Training day for day two. Big day planned tomorrow into Avignon but a 2 hour run before breakfast. Training for Ironman Germany is awesome! Check out Day 1 Video

Was an awesome training session with good mate Browny. Am very lucky to have great support team including my awesome friend Randy who provided his own Jet and driver as support. Legend! Beautiful scenery and some of our best training before Hawaii.

Macca you should get one of those Gopro hero cameras! Mount it to your bike or helmet! I got a little nervous when you were shooting and riding on those cliffs! Amazing video!
