In my first video I give a review on the Samick Sage Recurve.
The recurve I picked up from 3RiversArchery is a 45# model and my draw lenght is 28"
In the video im using 31" Beman Bowhunter 500 arrows with 50 grain brass inserts and 125 grain feildpoints.
Hope you enjoy the review and if you have any questions write on my wall and ill be sure to get back to you.

  • Where do you anchor man, Must be hard to get any consisent because you dont anchor.

  • @jake8542

As I said with one of the other comments, this review was done when I first got the bow and hadnt developed a great form. Now im able to hold the string back for a moment and then release. I do anchor

  • can you shoot off the hand with this bow?

  • @TheMHandDSfan This recurve like many others has a cut into the riser that's called a shelf. That is where you shoot the arrow off of.

  • im gonna get this bow to. i have a few other bows, but the recurve I had broke. nice vid brother.

  • @CatfishJAW Thanks bud, All I know is you wont be disapointed with this bow ,its simply awsome.

  • How far away from the target were you

  • great video dude, really enjoyed it :)

  • Been shooting this bow for over a year.. I left it strung "unknowingly" for several months, then un-strung and and have re-strung and shot it for over a year afterwords and the thing has held up perfectly fine. It's a great bow for the price, but it isn't made in America so ... I'm going to get a Bear and use this as a back-up but I'd have no problem taking a deer with this bow. I just bought a low poundage version to train with and will be upping my draw weight for hunting, but no regrets.

No, this review was before I developed a good form. Now I draw, anchor for a good moment and shoot. Its not to much weight just bad shooting technique.
