wooow 23 years of age. Is sad just to think what it will happen before he got to 30. He had aready fight the best in his era. Most likely they where no be a Chavez, Ali, Robinson.

@krisnadarajah JC Chavez was one of them. Chavez said Sanchez was he's idol. He got the same trainer Cristobal Rosas, had the same training routine and train in Toluca, near Sanchez hometown.

as great Salvador was and God rest his soul, the poor man was gone to early. i guess his death stopped him from becoming something else. for a 23 year old he achieved what todays 95% of 23 year olds cant achieve. im 23 and im pretty much a piece of shit.
Rocky marciano, another great fighter. career speaks for itself. but Joe Louis was a bad mther****** in his day.

A raiz de esa pelea me hice aficionado al boxeo!!!

This man had it all. Unbelievable speed, skill and power! He was also a great spokesman for our beloved sport. He never relied on trash talk to try to intimidate his opponents. They were already worried because they saw what he had done to his previous opponents. Such a shame that a "fast car" ended his life. He was truly a living legend in those days! He was like the phoenix that rose from the flames. I'm sure his career inspired many of the great young Mexican boxers who made it after he did!
