this is my latest sound mix vid,. I have mixed a scene from The BBC series primeval, with the sounds of the velociraptors from jurassic Park,i think this makes the animals more scary and life like than the original hissing, :))please tell me what you think,. btw cant wait until series 3,. would love to see more dinosaurs in the show(T-Rex anyone??)

  • Raptor in Primeval have some sounds from JP

  • @DjamshutPsih yes it had some sounds, but it didnt have all of them.-

  • Great video. I always liked (was scared of) the raptor sounds from JP. I also like the way they depicted this raptor in Primeval so both together is great!

  • @sailhobiecat its the same species, and same animal as in JP,. so yes the sounds fit perfectly, tobad they didnt use the sounds from Jp, as all know how dinosaurs sounds like from those movies..

another thing is that we really dont know what they sound like,. but JP sure made the dinos sound more alive than in many other dino movie ive seen,.

  • @filathor In the scene of fight spinosaur and raptor, raptor had sounds from JP raptor and T-rex fight

  • yea, good

  • @filathor Actually, Lightrundas was mostly right. At the time when Crichton was writing the book. Gregory Paul was in favor of reclassifying Deinonychus antirrhopus as a species of the Velociraptor genus, and so Crichton was writing about Velociraptor antirrhopus (which they made still even a bit larger in the film), rather than the smaller actual Velociraptor, V. mongoliensis. They already knew plenty about both animals; Utahraptor was the dinosaur discovered after the movie.

  • @Lightrundas12 actually , they didnt know about Velociraptors, when the first JP movie came out,. the only thing they knew was that the raptors belonged to the Raptor family,. and they called the raptors swift hunters(velociraptors) which not are all wrong,. all these dromeosaurs are swift and would kill a human fast and terrible so yes,. they are both deinonycus and velociraptos on one and same time,. if it makes sence,.

  • @TIMETODIE99 The raptors in JP were Deinonychus, but they were called velociraptor to make them scarier.

  • @TIMETODIE99, actually when they made Jurassic park, they didnt know how a Velociraptor or a utharaptor looked like, there was only found claws and a few bones, so they knew it was from the dromeosaur family, just after the movie release in 93, they got findings of a true velociraptor ,and the ones in the movies was depicted wrong(its a dromesaur yes, but no Velociraptor, but more in the larger genuses in the familiyy

  • No utah raptors were way bigger and as the one for Jurassic Park those raptors were fictional. Case in point both raptors are fictional due to the improper naming and classicfication.
