Very brief stays in West Virginia and Maryland. They are very low mileage and flat states. Hiking through them was very easy and very beautiful. By this point, the trees had really let out their leaves and spring was beating me up the coast. I night hiked for the second time on the trail during this period which was just amazing.
I have been following along from your first video starting with the gear selection. I got to hand it to ya hiking at night. I've been out there at night. It's DARK!

@Woodenarrows Thanks so much for the interest. It wasn't really that dark on this particular night. The stars were out and it was completely clear. Also, as you can see, it was before the leaves came in, so the forest was bright enough to get around.

I love your videos. Great to have a thru hiker tale through the eyes of someone who is a thinker.

@camp4christ Thanks so much. The interesting thing is how much time one has to think out there. It's a great way to unite the mind. Let me know what you think of my other videos and thanks again for the kind words.

You were in good condition when you started. Do you think that as you progressed that you got in even better shape from all the hiking or did you stay about the same?

I got in much better shape as I went. That's how the body works.
