Wow, does this bring back memories! I had the good fortune of talking with Austin Willis a few months before his death and he talked about his "Seaway" stint. I think John Candy credited Stephen Young with fashioning the word "Schmenge"....eventually the name of the fictitious polka band featuring Candy and Eugene Levy. it was a fun derogatory name he called others ("don't be such a schmenge...") back in the day.
