Donald Capps, a 79-year-old Joplin, MO resident, held onto to his wife as the recent tornado pulled apart their home. They both survived and are now safe at a Red Cross shelter. Capps is a Korean War veteran and his service to the country is being recognized my many fellow shelter residents as the Memorial Day weekend arrives.
