Lack of maintenance and improper servicing of a kettle became a recipe for a disaster.The kettle exploded, injuring 3 workers and destroying a kitchen.
"never bypassing" - everybody understands, but in the end you regret to throw away expensive devices. In this case a new relief valve could have done it, the personnel would have recognized the overheating kettle and turned off the switch.
the only 2 thinks i can think that the person that hired someone eather wanted to save money on fixing it or he did not want to spend money to get a new one
