@pris72 The same has been true in the following seasons. It is always a WGWG who wins. Alex Lushington should have made the top 12, while Kristy Lee Cook, who should have been eliminated at top 24. I blame VFTW for Alex's elimination. If season 7 was done my way, Alex would have made the top 3. If she made the top 7, the week Kristy Lee was eliminated, she would have done justice with Marey Carey. She was not my favorite of season 7; that was Chikezie Eze, who is my second favorite ever.

She is absoultely adorable and very talented. American Idol always eliminates people with the most potential.

You are right. It was the final 20 when she was voted off. The reason why she didn't have the fan base, is due to this show picking and choosing those who they spotlight. It's obvious each season.She has a youtube page now with 4 video uploads on it. She has a beautfiul voice. I am glad that she is focusing on college right now. She can have both. A record deal and an education. She's our hometown girl. Well not a girl anymore. She's 20 now.

@pris72 That was the final 24. Alex Lushington was romantically challenged, while Kristy Lee Cook was backed by Vote for the Worst. Romantically challenged means lacking an established fanbase of romantic voters, which are voting viewers who have picked a favorite right off the bat and blindly vote for that contestant every week of the competition.
