Before The Worst - chapter 32 part 1

Nick's POV:
Joe had walked off and Kevin had gone to find Sophie.
So now it was just my thoughts and I.
I walked around a bit, and finally found some quiet place where surprisingly no one was.
I sat and thought.
Kevin and Joe had a point, Emma deserved way better than what I was giving her, I believe that now.
But when we first started dating I was so in love with her. I wrote Just friends. Cause that's what we were and I wanted more, for a really long time, and now that I have Emma, I guess I don't want her anymore. You always want what you can't have I guess.
And now I've gone and stuffed it all up by falling to hard and to fast for someone else, and I'm not even single.
Once I told Joe and Kevin I knew that they would immediately tell Sophie and Jacqui.
I didn't even want to think about the repercussions if I told Emma, or if Emma found out. She was hurt before, and I made a promise to her that I wouldn't act like a jerk. She even told me not to move too fast for my own good, for a fear of losing her. Im not necessarily afraid about losing Emma, I mean I am but im more afraid of her finding out.
I went to my dressing room, to relax at least until dinner.
I grabbed my guitar and started writing some songs.

Emma's POV
Jacqui: its good to see you guys.
Emma: its good to see you as well. I missed you heaps.
Jacqui: me too. We should go and find Sophie. We just left her there.
Emma: All right.
We left and went to find Sophie, we saw her with Kevin and they were sitting on Kevin's couch, just talking.
They looked up at us and smiled.
Kevin: ok I'll see you soon hunny; I'll go find Joe and Nick.
Sophie: ok babe, bye
They kissed each other. And Kevin left.
Emma: so girls what should we do now, we got about a half hour til we have to go to dinner.
Sophie: how bout we just sit and talk aye.
Jacqui: sounds good.
I walked over to the couch and sat with Jacqui and Sophie.
We all sat on the couches and told stories of our childhood and of our old primary schools. We all went through high school together but different primary schools.
Jacqui: should we go and find the boys before we go to dinner.
Emma: ok, ill go get Nick, and you guys get Joe and Kevin.
We went and tried to find the boys.
I found Nick laying on his couch.
Nick just looked at me.
Emm: uh, I'm just wondering what time we're going to dinner
He looked at his watch.
Nick: we should be going now.
He got up and I felt alone, like he didn't love me and I was expecting him to just walk past me and disappear.
But he came to me and kissed my lips and grabbed my hand and held it as we walked out.
Emma: are you still mad with me?
He stopped walking and turned to face me. And then he pushed some hair behind my ear.
Nick: no, im sorry, im just stressed, you know how I get when we have a big show, and especially on a night like this.
Emma: im sorry if I annoy you heaps.
Nick: you don't I love you
Emma: I love you too.
We walked to the cars and saw the boys and Sophie and Jacqui in the cars waiting for us.
