go to the menu and there is an option to turn off the "wind" sound; so far I like this camera because of the dual microphones to record live music; good resolution if there is plenty of light; powerful zoom. see some of my videos with this camera at poliveros55

Thank for your comments.... the sound is great because it has 2 microphones stereo in front that catch all the sound around, but when is windy it's too noisy.
