Pentagon, NATO and the European Union have unanimously objected to the statement by the Russian president made yesterday before the Russian lawmakers. President Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday, that Russia would deploy short-range missiles in the Baltic Sea region near the border with Poland in response to plans by the United States to build an anti-missile system in Europe.
`To neutralize — if necessary — the [U.S.] anti-missile system, an Iskander missile system will be deployed in the Kaliningrad region,` Medvedev said. `Naturally, we are also considering using for the same purpose the resources of Russia's navy.`
NATO press secretary Robert P Shel said in respond to Medvedev that reaction would be adequate if Russia did so because it would be a violation of the agreement on weaponry control.
EU External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner has said the new policy of Russia contradicts the security strategy of the Europe.

I'm still waiting for Former President George W. Bush Jr. to be tried in the Supreme Court for violating two of the US constitution's amendments using both terroristic behavior and the Patriotic ACT. Please, for the love of God! Would someone just do that so he can be sentenced to execution via lethal injection?

what threats?? the usa moved closer towards border since the end of the cold war. its not like the russians are building bases all over the world to ensure their global domination ^^
