  • Cornell Dupree, Texas-born jazz artist died on May 8, 2011, in Fort Worth, Texas. RIP Cornell!

  • magical!!

  • you know it never happened but imagine dupree, rainey, and purdie on a steely dan track with fagan and becker man o man

  • why have i never heard of this guy before, truly a magical sound and band came upon him via a bb king vid.

  • You can look far and wide but you'll never find another who sounds anywhere NEAR to this man.

Pure soulfulness in his fingers. One slinky slide into a 6th chord said more than anyone else.

Pick up any LP cover from the 1960s or 1970s , Cornell was playing on it.

We're going to miss you Mr Dupree.

  • So sad. RIP brilliant soul.

  • This Is AWESOME! RIP...

  • This is AWESOME!!! R.I.P. Mr. Dupree...

  • Thank You Cornell !! RIP
