Sensational piece on Kevin Poulsen's alleged "crimes."

The beginning of this video is the program as it aired originally, while the "update" segment on Kevin's arrest was taken from the re-runs. The audio is messge up at the end, but it's still understandable.

Filmed in a real CO with a #1A ESS. Note the "NET-LINE" input message and the "CT02" (Call Trace) output message on the terminal. The "NET-LINE" input message identifies the network termination (called party) for an active phone call in the switch given a subscriber number. This command was very useful for a number of hackers and phreaks back in the day.
