Creating a text or ASCII resume, so that it may be pasted anywhere. When submitting a resume online, resumes often need to be formated in ASCII/text.

Once created the resume will be ready to cut or copy and then paste into an email or online job application.

  • Thanks so much! I was always confused when applications said to copy paste my resume. I was doing it all wrong the whole time. I used think think notepad was useless.

  • I converted my resume into plain text and emailed it to myself and everything looked good, however when I pasted it into the resume field of a potential emplyer the text wasn't alighned properly. Can you tell me why this is so?

  • Thanks for the help!
