I love this scene just as much as I loved the patch removal scene early in their relationship. I hated that the writers wanted to try to have the character without the patch in the first place. When Steve wasn't wearing the patch it seemed to me that his entire personality changed. I always thought that maybe Steve kind of reverted back to the guy he'd been when he was with Marina the first time around when he was a young man because that was before he'd lost his eye.

Wonderful scene! MBE & SN are exceptional actors, they can convey so much emotion without having to utter a word., especially with MBE, you can see it all in her eyes. They are a joy to watch.

THIS stuff is good! This is solid relationship drama right here! Too bad we don't have some decent writers...and I MISS Steve and Kayla, too!! I miss them a LOT!
