This looks like great fun. I just started taking conga lessons. I'm watching you all play 4/4 tumbao. To be part of a larger community is wonderful. If you lose your place there is someone to help you. Humboldt State Univ. in Arcata, CA, has a superb Afro Cuban Rhythms intensive course end of July each year. Exhausting but fabulous.
