From Taylor Hicks' self-titled 2006 'AI' freshman CD - "Just to Feel That Way" was the first single taken from Taylor Hicks' major label debut album 'Taylor Hicks', released by Arista Records.
It was written by Lindy Robbins, Jess Cates, and Emanuel Kiriakou and produced by Matt Serletic.
The song was officially released to radio on February 5, 2007, nearly two months after the album's release.

Taylor's not a sellout. He won't sell his soul to the billionaire record moguls who only want to produce teeny bopper bubble gum music that can be made in 2 weeks or less.
The man does his own tours which is straight money to him for his talent, and has 2 awesome label albums the second one minus Clive "Piggy" Davis is much better!

This has got to be the best song ever written! It has hope, promise, guidence! It's just a beautiful song! I don't watch American Idol but I know much talent has survived the judgement that, known as the Cowel.

Feels like he's so far away. According to schedule looks like he's not coming back to the NYC area. I'm stranded. Guess I'll have go hit a bucket.

OH....How I love this man..his voice .. I just do not know why it seems America, does not give him enough exposure the way they do with most of the AI winners. I have his CD both in my car and ipod..I love you Taylor Hicks!

Taylor is such a great talent. I love his voice, I just don't think anyone gave him the chance to get past AI and Katherine McPhee. He needs to record more.

Taylor will be performing his soon to be released new single "Seven Mile Breakdown" from his new CD "The Distance" ... tonight (April 29th) on American Idol!
Taylor IS extremely talented, can't wait till he sets the Idol stage on fire again tonight!
