In the recent years, Facebook and other social networking sites have boomed in popularity. Users can join the site and interact with other people. Users can add friends and send messages along with updating their profile with pictures. With many students applying to colleges, viewing students Facebook and MySpace pages might allow college admissions to know more about applicants or to narrow their choice of students to be accepted. This could be looked at as an unfair way of invading a students privacy or a helpful way to knock out a student who is seen as unfit for a school.
