Rainbow Road Through the Years

A look at Rainbow Road through the years. Rainbow Road first appeared in Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo (SNES) in 1992. Since then, it has appeared in every Mario Kart game. It also made an appearance in an F-Zero game. One lap of each course is shown in this video, for all of the console versions plus the GBA game. (Sorry, I was not able to include the DS version). The games shown are:

1992 - Super Mario Kart (SNES)
1997 - Mario Kart 64 (Nintendo 64)
1998 - F-Zero X (Nintendo 64)
2001 - Mario Kart: Super Circuit (Game Boy Advance)
2003 - Mario Kart: Double Dash (GameCube)
2008 - Mario Kart Wii

Please note that the years listed are based on the North American release.

Again, I was unable to include the DS game (I did not forget about it). I do not own a DS system and I do not have the ability to directly capture video from a DS anyway. This video is about the CONSOLE versions of Mario Kart. The GBA game is included as a bonus since it can be played on the GameCube console with the Game Boy Player adapter.
