Absolutely addicted to this Carmen performance. First time I've ever seen it, and I'm glad this is the one I saw.
(BTWay, does anyone else think 'Carmen' looks a bit like Adam Lambert? Shape of the face, I mean).

The Met's production of Carmen and Garança cured me from a severe addiction to Don Giovanni,,, I'm now hooked on Carmen!

I saw Met cinema as well! Fantastic! I was so IN watching it that it was as though I had meditated. I was totally of the feeling of LOVE---the best kind, of the sublime--when you flow! My friends get into this mystical state as well so we three magnified the FEEL of IT around the room. And none of us could eat at intermission--we were of LOVE! Thanks! I see that Roberto loves Mario Lanza! Indeed--not quite there but almost!

I've just returned from seeing the direct transmission from the MET at my local cinema. Fantastic ! She's the best Carmen I have ever seen - truly Carmen incarnate. The voice, the looks, the 'hauteur' of Elina - all perfect for the rôle. For me she wasn't 'acting' Carmen - she WAS Carmen. Superb ! Brava !!
