  • She is the best improviser i know. She improvise in the great great tradition of Cesar Franck. There is nowadays no one better then her. Perhaps Thierry Escaich of St Etienne du Mont or Pierre Pincemaille> But no one of these masters is equal to het lyric improvisations. No tricks, she use the complete Cavaille_Coll instrument. When the old man looked from above the heavens he know that she is the one.........

  • The Queen of the King of instruments.

  • Geweldig!!

  • Quelle grâce......

  • Een zeer sympathieke vakvrouw!

Ik heb ze ontmoet in de Laurenskerk te Rotterdam waar ze samen met Daniel Roth een concert gaf.

    Geweldige avond was dat.

  • Just a regular girl with a gift of genius. Way to go, Sophie!!

  • What a gracious lady. She welcomes visitors to the organ loft regularly, and she must have demonstrated the instrument and answered many of the same questions hundreds of times over, whilst maintaining her enthusiasm and consummate musicianship. How wonderful it would be to be there.

  • So phenomenally talented! The key thing, I think, is not whether the St. Sulpice instrument is superior to ND or who is the better improviser; rather, I think we must celebrate that this magnificent school of organ thought is alive and well in Paris. So many brilliant players and composers and improvisers and organs stretching all the way back to Franck and beyond, and it's still going on! Veronique-Choplin and Roth and Latry and Lefebvre and Escaich and Castagnet and Warnier and more.

  • "This is the next great person to re define the art of improvisation!"

  • @organstudent that's the swell pedal, its the old fashioned version.
