  • dude your elbow needs to be up when you so "push pull on the dummy"

  • @sillumwingchun look the photos of GM Ip Man when performing the movement, elebow is down.

  • Ip Man is registered the "詠春", not "永春".Both styles is different.

  • @adsl2912117 Ip man also taught under the name eternal for a period of time, and his sifu Chan Wha Sun and his decendents in china still use the eternal Charakter, look at my video here on my channel a visit to the grave of Chan Wha sun you can see the charakters on the grave. it are one and the same system

  • @42lynchmob when you repeat the same actions over and over again you both master your techniques and toughen your hands...

Of course it doesn't hit back, it's not made for that purpose, it is made to understand the distance you must keep from your opponent in order to succesfully land your techniques and position your body.

  • @DuStR1d3r Dont see how, cause it doesn't hit back.

  • und funktioniert das auch wenn die faust sofort wieder zurück gezogen wird ? nein tut es nicht ...-.-

  • Yeah it looks funny to train that way but that's why Bruce lee kicked ass when he got to America because only just narrowed minded people was the big thing thats another reason he portrays that in all his movies.

  • do these guys know how pathetic they look hitting wooden dummies like it's going to help them fight? LOL

  • @dgethai74 There really is no such thing as the ''Yip Man system''. Every student of Yip Man has/had another Wing Chun. Sergio has learnt the version of Leung Ting. Leung Ting isn't the only Yip Man lineage. I don't know how they do it, but Yip Man taught to keep your elbow down, like I explained in my previous comment.

  • @MCBosmans IWKA system, never have elbow up. Only Ip Man Wing Tjun that Sifu Sergio stop to practice.

  • @vyvial This why all IWKA organisation doesn't practice Ip Man Wing Tjun since 2008. Our curriculum use Tang Yik knowledge and Yuen Kay San. Much more advance system.

  • Where you from?
