hey Stephstance, great posting here, i am a musician who's been liucky enough to get work this year to support my family, the future looks ok, but i am songwriting also,and you are right, the best way to do it now is grass roots, selling your stuff anywhere, by yourself, signing a record deal or something like that means as an artist, you've sold your rights, thanks,rock on girl!!!

IMO The problem is this "control/conformity" paradigm" that exist has no mercy and no room for "spiritual" evolution! Displaying your energy and your emotion will generate many things from many people but....rest assured it will not move the corporate state though it exist as a composite of individuals. Compound all of this with polarity issues and it is a whopper of frustration. I would like to think we stewards of art not owners but deserve acknowledgement for our energy & effort. Peace
