FlatOut 2 multiplayer online 2 on PC

Well, this game still looks pretty good, not perfect such as Burnout 3 or Revenge, though.

You'll hear a thrash metal on this video, as a warning. x) It doesn't have any shitty techno or electro tunes.

The cars look good, but the handling may look pretty weird at the time you're racing on a short track with big curves. I think I'll use the mob car on any race. You can also play multiplayer with your real friend or play with unknown players online or LAN, too. If you own the patch 1.2, you will chat with your friend once you join a server on FlatOut 2.
The bad thing is the soundtrack, I've been listening a bunch of times listening the same song and it gets boring, seriously. Some popular bands can get bored, but hey, next time, give us a custom music (though you can change your own music on PC, not on ps2 or xbox).

And....don't pester my opinion.

@paradoxx7 I'm afraid I uninstalled the game and erased it. I downloaded on utorrent.

I don't feel like playing the game again. I'm playing Oblivion, though.

I'm outta ideas. Have you ever tried downloading the US patch?

@NigoKron yeah, we too were able to play like a month ago. not anymore. I've just updated it successfully to 1.2 European. everything OK, graphics enhanced, but still no online play. says "connecting to gamespy", does that ok, but then when I specify the game type to find, after that I always get "no games found". can you try and tell me if yours works? my roommate and I haven't changed anything and it doesn't work on either of our computers anymore. can't be on our end then, can it?

@paradoxx7 I don't think the servers are already shut down and, thanks for the US patch, I was still be able to play the game online on PC. (if you watch another video of this game, you'll see that I have connected the online on GameSpy)

Try to see some of two patches that already released on that game.

One is from US and the another is from EU. If you live some country nearby, download the exact patch and follow the instructions.

do the online multiplayer servers still work for you? my roommate and I have been playing the game a lot, then stopped for a while, and now we tried again and no races seem to appear in the list when you try to "Find games". does it still work for you, is it a problem on our end or did they shut down the servers of a 5-year-old game?
