Simon Kaos reunited in 2004 for one weekend in April
(with original guitarist Brian Poulsen) and performed on the last night of "Peace Idol". Rick Slavik (bass) had to leave before this performance and was replaced by Ken Kirschner. Vocalist Darcy Deutsch and Keyboardist Andrew Lorimer had just finished 13 years in the band Prism, who recorded this song originally.

  • Would have been nice to see the proper credits to the song.Simon didn't write it ,so why give him the credit as above..I sure the disrespect wasn't intentional..His talent and voice wasn't close to Ron's.RIP...

  • @circlewolf Actually, there is no singer named "Simon Kaos' - it's the name of the band performing the song - . Darcy, the singer in this video, WAS the singer for Prism from 1987 - 2003. Andy - (the keyboard player in this video), WAS the keyboard player for Prism from 1987 - 2002. Ron Tabak didn't write this song either, Jim Vallance did. Ronnie was a great singer and a really nice guy and we all miss him.....RIP

  • @racefan32 They also took time off, because Ken the bass player had an operation on his head. Like every great band they waited for his return.

  • @PsychedelicPianoBar Well said.

  • They also did "The Zoo" by the scorpions, better than the scorpions themselves. Live wire in Calgary was always packed when they played. Oh the memories, and the things we did.

  • If it's been so long that you can't remember, I was the bouncer at the live wire, you know, the good lookin one, ha ha. Give me a shout if you see this. Latter buddy.

  • Craig buddy, sucks getting old doesn't it ? lol - Gary

  • Remember the live wire Darc ? we had a ball didn't we. Rock on my friend, rock on. hopefully see you soon. - Gary

  • Saw these guys play in the Old Westwind Cabaret Boggy's 1985-86 (tough place).

Surprised they didn't get bigger, but about a year later their bus crashed and a lot of their equipment was damaged.

  • Yes, it is the song Jim first ran his first red light on , when he heard it on the radio. Yes, it was also a very sad loss....RIP Ron
