  • Let's play the Killer Shrew drinking game! Any time you see one of the characters take a drink, take a drink. Then call your doctor as you'll no doubt be suffering alcohol poisoning by the end of the film.

  • Just because, I have to do Tom's little speech. I think it's so funny.

"Oh, I know this! This is the famous dock-walking scene. You know this whole take was done in one shot. It's a planned sequence, like the opening of Touch of Evil and the Copacabana scene in Good Fellas. This is virtuoso film-making fellas, you gotta see it to believe it. Brian de Palma used it in Bonfire of the Vanities. It's really exciting. Splendiferous."

  • YOU'RE GONNA DIE FROM SHREW BITES! YOU'RE GONNA DIE FROM SHREW BITES! SHREW BITES! SHREW BITES!

  • This movie should have been called "Booze and Shrews."

  • Is it bad weird to say I was scared of this movie as a kid?

  • @Blahblobify i actually see what stephen king might of enjoyed about this. from stephen kings percpective not mine.

  • "Frau Blucher"! great Young Frankenstein reference!

  • New rule, Frank. Don't ever touch me!

  • @clibinarium

I'm the same age as King, saw this in a theater when I was a kid, it made a big impression on me, yes it does suck now but King prolly went through the same experience. For some reason this movie stuck with you if you were 8 or 9 years old.

  • Cracking the Earth like a china cup and sending continents sliding into the unforgiving sea, vs Jim Henson's Edgar Winter Babies: Let's just call it a draw!

  • @clibinarium LOL, maybe KILLER SHREWS inspired CUJO? ;)

  • I've just finished reading Stephen King's book on horror as a genre "Danse Macabre" (30 years late; I know).

At the end he lists 100 films that contributed something important. Lots of well known films are there, some less well known, and "The Killer Shews" too! I'd love to know what Mr. King saw in this film, because other than the goofiness I can't see it.
