Thanks to mad about mariinsky.
This is my favorite version of this variation. Diana complete becomes the part, and a unique one. Unlike many other innocent, delicate Nikiya, she alone fights against lust, scheme and betrayal. She chose to love and now she chooses to die.

This truly is one of the best interpretations I have seen... always enjoy to see her dance, you can tell she thinks things through completely and takes time to wonder about what she dances in a deeper way.

amazing, she made me cry, her dancing is beautiful, something I have not done for many years watching great dancers, she is like water, moving so gracefully, elegantly.
