Arpegiator is one of Jarre's most overlooked tracks. First, it is - as far as I know - only released on the Concert in China double-album. Secondly, it is a track you need to listen to several times to grasp the consistency. I am sure many who hears this track the first time, thinks of it as having an "confusing sound". But when you keep listening, you will grasp the completely amazing composition. I don't think anything similar has ever been made - and this track is almost 30 years old.......

The Arpegiator is an automated function on most synth. It's easy to use. Every synth user can get something with it in seconds. What's make THE difference beetween synth users (like me) and a musician like JMJ is that he can make an unforgettable piece of music with that !

I remember this track (And I still have it) having it blasting out of my speakers in my bedroom, laying on my bed with the speakers on either side of my ears, completely anazed how the stereo images were coming through.
JMJ is extremely talented, I saw a guy on youtube playing the lazer harp, he was good, think his name is Rune Foshaug (not plugging him)
Anyway, love the post.....
