So how strong I the frame?

@lolagenation I suppose I should replace this with a more relevant video of me crashing it, which has happened enough so far. It's very strong, aside from the crashes it has survived some small jumps and ledges. I'm going to have it tested by a machine some time this summer.

I want to make my own now that I have seen this and seen the pictures.
Did you need any specialist knowledge or tools to do it?
An the frame test sounds interesting as I'd like to see how it compares to a "normal" bike

@lolagenation Check out "Bamboo Bike Studio" as a first step or the "Building A Bamboo Bike" blog. You need to learn how to work with carbon & epoxy or hemp & epoxy, which is easy enough in practice but you have to respect the details. You need to build a jig of some kind to hold the metal bits in place while you work. You also need a suitable construction worthy species of bamboo, at the right sizes. There is a lot of work that goes into it, but the information is out there. Start googling!
