One of Europe's top magical award winners, lecturer, and brilliant stage performer, Alexander de Cova, gives greater insight, finesse, and handling to one of magic's most beautiful cabaret tricks: the Silk in Apple. This effect, that has been the staple of many famous magicians' act, has been refined, and augmented in its handling by Alexander's genius and attention to detail.
A spectator signs or draws a picture on a silk. Slowly and deliberately, the magician vanishes the silk at his fingertips. (This diabolical method alone is worth the price of admission!)
Now the performer takes an apple which was in full view all the time from the table. He cuts open the apple. Something yellow sticks out of the center of the apple! With a large knife a yellow silk is now pulled from the inside of the fruit, which was in full view all the time! Now the silk is given to the spectator with the original signature!
Alexander's handling of the silk appearing in the apple is also not what you may think. It's totally different in its approach from previous methods. Your hands and fingers are in full view the entire time. There is no "secret move" in the way that the other methods require. This one is ultra clean. The DVD explains in fine detail all the preparations, moves, and fine points typical of Mr. de Cova's meticulous manner.
