I'm gonna do us all a favor and cramp the Dutton's style... This song is not about babies. It's basically a 1950s version of "Baby Got Back" (Damn, I'm clever); its about sexual attraction and desire for companionship.
A dream would be nice though and I LOVE this song... But the reality is our family-centric instincts turn us into sociopaths, in this world of 6.7 billion people (for instance, why not adopt or volunteer with kids?). There might be 9 or 10 billion of us by just 2050.
