Backup and Install custom cars for LFS

*****UPDATE: The latest patch is Z28 as of 12/03/09, to update to Z28 if you are already on V, W, X, Y or Z:
- Click on "Multiplayer" then "List of Games" in LFS and choose a download mirror.
If you want to do it manually you will need to download Z25 and Z28, put Z25 in your LFS folder and run from there, then run Z28 from where ever.************

How to back up and install custom cars for LFS

Get your cars at: http://www.lfsmods.com

Get the Z25 patch at:
http://www.lfs.net/file_mirror.php?name=LFS_PATCH_Z_TO_Z25.exe

Get the Z28 patch at:
http://www.lfs.net/file_mirror.php?name=LFS_PATCH_Z25_TO_Z28_setup.exe

*****!!!!!!***** Make sure you are already at patch Z from the auto updater, then download Z25 and Z28. Z25 will have to be placed in your LFS folder and ran from there, once Z25 is installed, you can run Z28 from what ever location you would like since Z28 has an auto-installer. OOOOOOORRRR the easy way if you already have version V, W, X, Y or Z just Click on "Multiplayer" then "List of Games" in LFS and choose a download mirror.
REMEMBER to back up your ENTIRE LFS game folder!!! *****!!!!!!*****

I have S2 Alpha 0.5Q and had other versions too and I watched million videos how to put mods in and I do what everyone do and so do you and all works fine but there is one problem.. I have triangles and holes in car and can see trough... how to fix that!! Please help me!!!

@BMWsloFanatik Usually when you download a car from lfsmods, it will tell you which patches you need for the car.

i hav lfs S2 0.5Q alpha n i dont knw the patches which i shud dload to make these car mods fit in the game......can u please help me with it. im completely new to modding in lfs. plzzz tell me which patches shud i dload...

@pavan789567 check on the lfsmods website, when you download the car it usually tells you which patches you need to get the car to work.

@mcfilms100 put them in the skins folder. Its been a while since ive been in lfs, but in there you will see all the other skins art. put it in there.

@KingQTR999 it sounds like word is defaulted to open that file.

Watch the video again and follow step by step. When you download the mod, it will be in a zip, you want to unzip it, then drag the files into the correct folder.
