So I finally received my letter from MAC to find out that got denied! I didn't everything you said..business cards & notarized contracts. I don't understand why that happened?!? They said "service contacts not accepted" which now am confused. I'm really bummed because I have a makeup gig coming up & it would of been nice to at least have a little discount :( would you know if I would be able to re-submit my application or am I on their "black list"? P.S. I'm kind of upset :((

@makeup1oh1 sorry to hear that. im not sure why they didnt take it. would you happen to have a letter of recommendation from a photographer you worked with or something on letterhead? it could also be whoever reviewing ur application didnt accept it. sorry, but i really dont know why.

I live in Seattle too & I sent my application the 2nd or 3rd week of February to the Toronto location..(wish I sent it to NY instead) and it's march 24th... How long did u have to wait till u got an approval via email?? I've been checking my email like crazy hoping I got approved becos I have a wedding to do make up for end of April! Hope I get an answer soon!! Thanks :)

@makeup1oh1 i dropped my app off at a MAC store and it took about a month to get my card. Good luck!

@makeup1oh1 not to worry, i got denied the firat time as well. i applied last year and recntly applied this year and got approved! you will not be blacklisted, just gather up all your documents and resubmit when you are ready:)
