Dawn, April 2005, Godawaya, Hambantota, southern Sri Lanka: After the Tsunami. Fishermen return from a long night's fishing to beach their boats and auction their meagre catches. http://premlanka.com

Memorable holidays for the discerning.

This is not the best season, but they had only just obtained the repaired boats and new nets.

Boats had been repaired after Tsunami damage: Replacement nets were provided by "Prem's Village Fund."

The beach is very steep due to Tsunami damage.

Fishing is very much a group activity: Everyone who helps, earns a share of the catch; as do people who own a share of the boat or the nets.

Watch for "aliens" passing at the end!

Sound is in Sinhala language, titles in English.
