  • isn't it amazing how we can mass produce something like isulin by splicing the gene from human DNA and inserting it into a bacterium and then culturing that bacterium?

  • Interesting video. Unfortunately, I am concerned by the lack of humility that humanity shows to Nature. Reconfiguring the DNA seems like one more aspect of the same "Manifest Destiny" that Columbus brought to the New World and that expanded westward with Custer. Cool science, don't get me wrong. But, a "mouse-frog" is a sign of the arrogance for which this species is world famous.
