Fascinating way of mixing the vials dude, I do mine in a different sort of way :L

I recently just started injecting myself after moving for college. I've only done it a few times, I wish I had veins as easy as yours! Anyways thanks for the video, I've learned some stuff I can do when i have to inject my factor viii tonight!

wow! you do it the same way i do! leave some air in the syringe to make sure yo uget every last drop, pull the blood back to the syringe before you inject the product to get the little bit of air out. not taking off the tourniquet. i do use a sterile gauze instead of toilet paper, but hey whatever floats your boat! also, what product are you using? i have never seen that before

Kay` i changed my mind , i did my f8 and i am doing it .. and its awesome

That's not a mistake, been done to get all the air out the tube I got trained up to do that. You should have been trained the same

I have hemophilia and the only mistake I saw was that you let your blood return go all the way into the syringe, other than that you did great

I'm sure you will be fine. I first injected myself when I was about 9 or 10...I'm 39 now. It is great being able to do it yourself and not have to rely on someone else or visit your local hospital or doctor every time you need to inject. Give it a go and you'll be glad you did. I much prefer doing it myself as it hurts much less and I know exactly where I want the needle to go and how to take it out. Good luck:) How old are you btw?

@TheMightyC So you managed to avoid the tainted blood crisis of the 1980s? Lucky you.

What makes you say that? Unfortunately I didn't manage to avoid it. But, I am one of the lucky few who are still alive:)

Crickey, it's just a video of the way I injected myself! What's the big deal? If I showed you a video of me injecting myself (without the mistake) how I normally do, you'd probably have kittens. I normally do it standing up in the kitchen, surrounded by food. Is that allowed? You do it your way, and I'll do it mine:)

The tornequet isn't really very tight at all. My veins are pretty good anyway and the tornequet is just to make sure it is as big as possible. I have never had any problems keeping the tornequet on whilst injecting and shall keep on doing it this way. When first taught one is told to take it off/loosen it whilst injecting, but what do the doctors know eh;) As long as the F8 finds it way into your bloodstream, does it matter how it gets there? Do it the way you're most comfortable with I say:)
