Shooting steel and other "reactive" targets is always fun. Here I am making my way through some various steel targets in a local club's IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association). If you look closely, about halfway through this 30-second clip, you'll see a very interesting steel "hostage" target. The idea is that a bad guy is holding a hostage as cover. You just have the head-shot. When you hit the head a piece of steel swings into the center mass of the hostage. This represents a bad guy going down and the hostage is out of the way. The goal is to take this second shot. You'll see me hit the head and then the center mass. My reload needs some work.
