lolz you can only crack somthing when ur close enough to sense the network. it would be a bit akward if ur in new york and crack a password thats in miami xD

you should be able to boot from a live cd that has wifi cracking tools (i suggest Backtrack 3) and use them. i say should because some people say live cds don't work on Macs but no matter what happens it will not hurt your computer in any way so i'd try it
