  • and ok,,im a fully disabled vet waiting on benefits for 5 years, waiting for even decent health care,,,your worried about school cool,,,im worried about living in general.

  • And why is it surprising that so many would apply in August seeing as that August 1, 2009 was the first day they were allowed to apply? Exactly where is the mystery? It doesnt surprise me that, once again, the VA screwed things up. Once again, the VA was caught with their pants down and service members get shafted. You see, thats what the VA does best. Were sorry?!? Ive got no goddamn money left in my bank account! Keep your apologies and send me my money!

  • The VA has received a quarter of a million Post 9/11 GI Bill applications and 70% of those claims came in August which has caused a major bottleneck. Wow! Who knew that would happen? Wait...everyone! With such a great benefits package, why is it surprising that so many would apply?
