This is my third video of my attempt at an indoor container garden. This is 2 full weeks after planting the seeds. I have 3 green bean plants, 4 white onions, a sprinkling of green onions and 2 leaf lettuce varieties.

Again, these plants get about 5 or 6 hours sunlight through a south facing window followed by another 3 or 4 artificial light, currently in my bathroom(6 x 75 watt equivalent compact florescents and 1 x 75 watt incandescent).

  • lettuce need light to grow. sowing them outside will make their stems very short and they wont fall over. last year they failed but this year i gave them light outside and they are looking pretty healthy and big so far =)

  • lettus doesnt like alot of light it does well in shade.

  • thank's keep us posted and keep trying

  • Bye the way, don't forget to take either a Q-tip or a feather to cross pollinate after the flowering veggies flower... Just rub them real lightly , one to another for a few days when each one is finished flowering...

  • MMM I'm going to try the green onions too!
