Gays cant fight for their freedom in the US. Where is our freedom?
I fthey wont allow us gays to fight thats a shame, but I guess they are saving us, ans so there will be alot more of us here.
The government violates my freedom rights just as it did for black people.
The goverment is rascist and its a shame we live in a country that does not gives us all our constitutinal rights.

It does seem to be a generational thing. Most people in my generation really don't care about such trivial and absurd issues.

What I don't understand is "why" gay people need to know they're gay. Why can't they just keep it to themselves?

They told him to go back to work because (brace yourself)...he was doing a good job! His sexuality is irrelevant unless it leads him to behave inappropriately at work, which was not an issue.

Let the soldiers, sailors and veterens decide, they put their hands up to fight for the freedoms these people are taking advantage of, they know who the want sleeping, showering and watching their backs. If they repeal dadt then they should alow unisex bathrooms, and showers where men and women can shower together as well as sleep together. if gays can do it then so should straight people its only equal.
Funny thing is most of the people who have objection to gays in the military have served.
I'm a straight guy who served in the Navy since '98, and whether the member is gay or straight(and rumors do fly around onboard a ship) the only thing that matters that they are getting the job done
