I wouldnt say they didnt appreciate him. It was just smarter business wise for Greenbay to let him go because of Rodgers. They had already talked about his retirement so they brought in a QB to take his place, they where paying for a QB that they wasn't using. Really if I a was owner i would have done it too cause who knows what Rodgers would be thinking if we kept benching him cause of Favre.
