Around Greenwich, OH: 1-25-09

Well, this sunday wasnt exactly amazing as far as CSX is concerned. But, i still got a good video i guess.

Train 1: Two AC4400CWs lead an intermodal train eastbound

Train 2: A UP AC44/60AC and an AC4400CW lead a westbound coal train into the west end of Willard Yard, and continue to get refuelled.

Train 3: At Boughtonville Road, we see a westbound W&LE train speed past, led by an EMD SD40-2 and another SD40-2 in the wheeling paint scheme.

Train 4: A CSX GP40-2, Road Slug, and GP38-2 lead a westbound local through greenwich

Train 5: Again, we see the westbound coal train, this time after it refueled at Willard.

Train 6: A couple of Warbonnets head west on Q385, along with a CSX GP38-2.

Train 7: Just after Q381 clears, Q388 rolls past with a former conrail Dash 8 and an AC6000CW

Train 8: We head over to Pawnee Rd, where an old wood/steel bridge goes over the CSX mainline, not far from Lodi. This clip is slowed to half speed, so you can get at least half the gist of whats going on. Q389 appeared just seconds after we got to the bridge. The lead unit was 4500, the Spirit of Cumberland SD70MAC, the second time i've caught it this month.

Train 9: Just as Q389 clears, Q388 appears, which we now see for the second time. The exhaust of the locomotives momentarily fogs my lens, but nothing ridiculously unacceptable

well my friend went up one day to fostoria and only caught 18 trains in 8 hours. but we make our way to marion a few times a year. but willard, deshler, and fostoria are on my list for this year.

Thanks! Greenwich is usually pretty good for action, but sunday was pretty slow. But It's nice to live somewhat close/ relatively easy to get to places like alliance, berea, greenwich and fostoria.
